I am an ARCT-certified piano teacher with over 20+ years of teaching experience. I earned my ARCT (Piano Performance) in 2003, and hold a BFA (Music) from SFU.

I studied piano with Eileen Parker until I received my ARCT. In my twenties, I spent a few years as piano and theory instructor at Piano Place in Crystal Mall. And I started my home studio in Brentwood area focusing on private piano teaching and MYC (Music for Young Children) group teaching until Covid hit. I paused piano teaching for 5 years focusing on raising my children and growing my daycare business. I started teaching piano again in 2024. This time I am teaching piano on a smaller, more personal scale - one that fits family life, daycare business, and allows genuine connection with my piano students.

My philosophy is simple: progress through joy, patience, and clear guidance. Each lesson blends proper technique, musical expression, and gentle motivation to help students play with confidence and heart.
